A.H.C.C.® Plus supplies a unique mushroom-derived extract called A.H.C.C (active hexose correlated compound) combined with arabinogalactan from the Eastern Larch tree. Mushrooms have always been an important part of Asian medicine and are known to contain numerous substances that help support the body. The active compound in A.H.C.C. is thought to be an Î±âˆ’1,4 linked glucose oligosaccharide with a molecular weight less than 5,000 daltons. This oligosaccharide cannot be found in typical mushroom preparations. Scientific research indicates that A.H.C.C. is an antioxidant that offers protective effects against free radicals. It may provide particular support to T-cell precursors known as thymocytes, which are highly susceptible to oxidative stress.
